For all the times you’ve brought over meals,
Food for my family to eat
It was all so warm, just like you make me feel
The whole experience was quite a treat.
When we sat down,
And talked over that meal
The wisdom that you shed to me
Was so genuine and so real.
In that moment, I wished I could post
A thank you for encouraging me when I needed it most.
